Review: Green Giant Steamers

I'm a Mom to two girls with a full time job outside the home as well as tasked with the full time responsibilities of the home. Meaning, I'm in charge of cooking, cleaning, taking the dog out, laundry, baths, etc etc...

You know what I'm going on about.

When it comes to cooking, I need healthy meals that my kids will eat and meals that are quick to prepare.

After working all day, I have so little time to snuggle and play with my girls so I don't want to spend too much of that time tucked away in the kitchen, slaving away over the stove.

Enter Green Giant Seasoned Steamers.

I've been a huge fan of these steamer bags since they hit the market. All I have to focus on is the main chunk of my meal and then I just toss the microwave and ta-da I have a meal!

Green Giant Seasoned Steamers are a yummy combo of veggies picked at its peak and seasoned with amazing flavors. There's six selections to choose from: Tuscan Seasoned Broccoli (broccoli with Parmesan cheese and Tuscan-inspired seasonings), Mediterranean Blend (potatoes zucchini and carrots with Mediterranean-inspired seasonings), Brussels Sprouts (seasoned with sea salt and cracked peppers), Honey Roasted Sweet Corn (a blend of corn and peppers with a touch of honey), Honey Dijon Carrots (carrots flavored with honey Dijon seasoning), and Backyard Grilled Potatoes (roasted potatoes, peppers and onions with a season blend).

My family's favorite was the Honey Roasted Sweet Corn and the Honey Dijon Carrots. They were tender, seasoned just right and most importantly (for me): easy to make!

Want to try the Green Giant Seasoned Steamers? I've teamed up with MyBlogSpark to give away a prize pack to try out these yummy addition to dinner.

All I need you to do is leave me a comment on which Seasoned Steamer you want to try most.

Easy, huh?

This contest will run until December 17th, 2012 and is open to US Residents.

I participated in a MyBlogSpark campaign and received product from Green Giant through MyBlogSpark in exchange for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

Delicious, nutritious, and easy to make. That's what I'm talking about when it comes to good food. I love how companies are now making pre-cut veggies or bagged-veggies that you can just steam or quickly cook in the microwave for that fast, healthy meal.
