Review & Giveaway: CSN Stores- Skip Hop NYC

I am one of those Moms that has a bazillion diaper bags.

Okay, maybe not a bazillion but I have owned at least ten... ten with two children is a lot.
Especially considered the second child is only six months old.

In my defense, rarely do women use the same handbag all year long.

I change up my diaper bag as it strikes me Maybe one month I want my hot pink bag to celebrate summer. The next I want my trendy black and white one with the embroidery.

So when my good friends at CSN Stores asked me to do a review and giveaway, I knew I would be picking out a diaper bag to review.

CSN Stores has over 250 specialized online stores where you can literally find everything under the sun... and then some.

My only problem I ever find with CSN Stores is having to choose from so many choices.

Thankfully their website has great search features and allows you to narrow it down by price, style, brand, color, etc.

It helps, big time.

After hours (again, literally) of searching, I decided to go with one of my favorite brands: Skip Hop.

And for the record, choosing the pattern color took way too long.

My item shipped quickly and was at my door within 5 days (I picked standard shipping and two of those days were weekend days).

Then came the monumental task of transferring everything from the old diaper bag to the new one.

I was a bit skeptical because the Skip Hop Dash Deluxe looked small... very small.

It helps that the changing pad (included) has its very own pocket it slips nicely into.

As you can see it, worked.

Of course I found I didn't need half of the stuff I had crammed into my old diaper bag.

Seriously, who needs old lollipops, size newborn diapers and receipts from three months ago?

Not the new diaper bag, that's who.

Another big reason I picked out the Dash Deluxe was that it comes with Skip Hops unique strap and clip system that allows you to attach your diaper bag directly to your stroller

I did find that since my stroller has the middle one handed handle, you cannot access the diaper bag once it's clipped up. You have to undo it just to get into the pockets (except the side pockets), which is kinda annoying but workable.

The Dash Deluxe is made of great, sturdy material and the strap is adjustable with this amazing shoulder pad, super comfy.

Overall, I love the Skip Hop Dash Deluxe. It's cute, stylish, sturdy and I see it on my shoulder for a few months or maybe even more.

Now, for the giveaway. The folks at CSN Store have given me a $60 gift e-card to giveaway to one of my lucky readers. You can buy your own Skip Hop Dash Deluxe Diaper Bag or whatever your heart desires.

To enter, all I need you to do is leave me a comment on what you would spend the $60 on.

Extra entries can be earned by tweeting about this contest (make sure you include @NYTMBlog in your tweet and the link to this post) or following my blog.

Please make sure you leave a comment for each entry you leave and make sure you leave an email address so I can contact you if you win!

Contest is open to US residents only and will run until September 11, 2010.

Thank you and good luck!

I received a $60 gift card to purchase the Skip Hop Dash Deluxe through CSN Stores. All opinions in this review are my 100% my own. Please see my full disclosure policy for more information.

I am thinking that I might want to put it towards the purchase of a new office chair like Office Star Work Smart Task Chair with Screen Back and T-Shaped Mesh Padded Arms. The one I am sitting in at the moment is so uncomfortable. There is also a wall clock that I saw while I was looking around in the site.

I would totally put it towards the purchase of a Vitamix Turbo blender I've been eyeing on CSN! It's so expxensive that I can't justifying buying it but if it was 60 bucks off I could!
This would help jumpstart my new diet towards a healthier life. Veggie juices and smoothies to get the day going.
