Sometimes Pregnancy Sucks

I know pregnancy is supposed to always be about the miracle of life, glowing pride, happy fuzzy dreams and petunias... but sometimes it isn't.

Sometimes pregnancy is nothing but a big, fat worry-wart that can drive any woman to insanity.

The thing about pregnancy that sucks for me is the unknown.

The unknown feeling that you have no control over what is going on with your body. That unknown feeling you get when you don't feel the baby move or your arms go numb or you can't breathe.

It's not like you can lift up your shirt and see through your skin. You can't ask your baby if every thing's okay.

If something is wrong, you have no clue.

Today the baby wasn't moving and yes, normally she is a quiet baby in the morning but I tend to worry if I haven't felt a shoulder roll against my belly button or not even a hiccup.

And when I hadn't felt her move by lunchtime, I got worried.

So I tweeted about it, google it and poked my belly. I flopped back and forth from my left side to my right side. I rolled around like a whale, all the while screaming in my head for the baby to give me the tiniest movement.

And thankfully, she did.

All my poking must have pissed her off because now she's doing the tango in my belly and I couldn't be happier.

While it may seem like a small thing to some, it was like a big weight of relief lifted from my shoulder. The invisible brow of sweat disappeared.

Sanity was returned to its normal position.

All is well in the world and while pregnancy doesn't suck at this moment, it did this morning.

What a relief for you that she moved.. I would have freaked too! It's the best feeling in the world feeling them move in your belly (not so good at 5am).. So glad all is ok :)

A can of coke works too! But seriously, I'm glad everything is ok.

I would just like to share information about Palmers. I know that this is irrelevant to this blog post but I am just sharing this information. Palmera Products who are involved in a class action suit. My friend is one of the party who filed this class action suit and if anyone of you who have the same experience feel free to go to www.palmerssettlement.com for more information.

That is BY FAR the worst part of pregnancy...I wonder if my babies got any sleep while in my belly because I was constantly poking at them. SO glad everything is okay!
