Ahhh, Mood Swings

Anyone who has been pregnant knows that mood swings are part of the package deal.

And I experienced my first this morning.

I was relaxing, enjoying a stress-free family morning when it struck.

Out of nowhere.

The grumpster set in and lasted for a good two hours.

For no reason!

After I'd calmed down, I chalked it all up to being pregnant and hormonal. And then I realized that I'm set for another 31 weeks of this. And then I realized how bad it was when I was pregnant with Roo.

Oh, the tears.

Maybe now that I'm older I can handle it? Maybe now that I know what's going on with my body I can combat it?

Or maybe I can just hide inside, eat IKEA chocolate and be grateful I'm pregnant at all!

the chocolate option seems like the best one.

Sadly this is quite common in pregnancy - I had the same thing! I think you need to ask your doctor hun. Btw congratulations hun. I am a mum too, I just had my first baby (a boy called Marlow) , such a wonderful experience. Did you already choose the name? Have a glance here it's a great site to search names by popularity and origin. Finger and toes crossed for you and your baby! Jo

I was so much crankier being pregnant with Shey than with Peyton. I think it stemed from having a toddler running me ragged! THen it also goes by really fast, so that helps. :)

Ah, the joys of pregnancy!! I'll trade you...I'll take the mood swings if you'll take all my sickies (acid reflux...can't take meds while preggo...equals getting sick every.single.morning.) I'm hoping my second round (in a few years) will go better!

Hang in there! Just gotta keep reminding yourself it's sooo worth it.
