Since karma is taking out its revenge on me and blessing us with FREEZING temperatures for the next few days, I figure it's the perfect time to hide our Florida butts inside. We've got soup in the crock-pot, tons of crafts to put together and Nick Jr. to watch.
What I don't have, is a book for Mommy.
Any suggestions on what to read?

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. It's amazing.
Anything by Jodi Picoult is awesome. My book club just finished Water for Elephants. It's a sweet story. Also, if you're feeling ambitious, I'm hearing The Hour I First Believed is fabulous. I'll be tackling that next.
Find anything by Augusten Burroughs. He is hysterical. My personal faves are POssible Side Effects and Magical Thinking.
too funny! stop back by my blog I'm actually giving a book away. BUT even if you aren't into the give away thing.. I know you'd LOVE the author. She is so funny and like you NOT TYPICAL. You're a bit "fresher" (meaning younger) than she and I but I know you are wise beyond your years and you'd dig her smart assed sense of humor.
I can't believe no one has suggested the Twilight series to you... have you read that yet?
But I agree - Jodi Picoult is very good! And I love anything by Nicolas Sparks as well...
Anything by Elizabeth Peters!
I've just finished "The Secret Life of Bees" - it was good.
Don't start twilight unless you have more than the first book...I blogged about that very thing today.
I like Jennifer Weiner's books (Good in Bed, Little Earthquakes, Goodnight Nobody). I also like Jodi Picoult..who doesn't??
But if you're looking for a little different kind of book. The Bourne Series by Robert Ludlum is amazing!
The Twilight series, but like the comment before don't start unless u have all four. they're addicting. I kept having to take extra trips back to Wal-mart and other stores trying to get the next book! I recommend these to everyone!!!
Ok, so we seem to have similar tastes so I am going to tell you my favorite book of last year.
"The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. RIVETING!
Let me know what you think if you choose it!
Petite Anglaise ( it's on Amazon). It's about an English blogger mom in Paris who left her husband to be with a guy she ment through the comment part of her blog.
